Lloyd Whittaker

Vice President of Finance, Director of Sales, and Athletic Development Specialist Lloyd Whittaker works primarily with young baseball and softball athletes at BAI. The West Frankfort, Illinois native manages the day to day operations of bornathleticstore.com, handling all order processing, shipping, and stocking. Lloyd is currently the pastor of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in West Frankfort, where he has served for the past eight years. No stranger to the sporting goods industry, Lloyd has over 32 years experience in sporting goods sales. Working for his father at the former Sports Center in West Frankfort as a teen, Lloyd went on to work in sporting goods sales with Paducah-based Mr. O's Sports in the mid-1980's prior to entering full-time ministry service. He has also accrued over 12 years of coaching experience in baseball and softball, successfully guiding his youngest two children to athletic scholarships in those sports. Widely known for his jovial personality and committment to individualized attention for young athletes and their parents, Lloyd brings a wealth of knowledge from which the BAI staff draws upon to motivate young champions to become their best. When not preaching or coaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife Karen and giving his children (and children-in-law) a hard time.
